Staff Product Manager, Identity & Access Management

Role Overview

We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to join our Platform team, focused on empowering internal product teams with high-quality Identity & Access Management (IAM) infrastructure. You will embed yourself within Identity, Authentication, and Authorization platform teams to deliver the fundamental tools and services that power all products. Your goal is to foresee IAM platform needs, set a vision for how identity and access management should work across the suite of products and clients, and prioritize platform initiatives to hit critical company milestones.

Responsibilities

• Actively listen across the product organization to understand future platform needs and support product ambitions.
• Work across multiple Platform teams in the IAM space, spanning authentication enablement, authorization, and identity.
• Collaborate with engineering and design stakeholders to translate needs into forward-thinking roadmaps that serve the business.
• Own the product lifecycle end-to-end, from roadmapping and discovery through to launch and internal adoption.
• Accelerate the pace of shipping by breaking projects into clearly defined milestones that deliver meaningful impact.
• Define success metrics for teams and projects, ensuring they are connected to real business outcomes.
• Act as a spokesperson to share and celebrate the team's successes and impacts.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on leading internally-facing Platform services in the IAM space at a multi-product company.
• Technical fluency and comfort engaging in large-scale architectural decisions with engineering teams.
• Experience building IAM services, especially for identities spanning multiple products and complex Authn/Authz experiences (SSO, multiple client types, web apps, and developer tools).
• Strong data skills and experience working with product telemetry platforms and associated privacy considerations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and communicate platform impact.
• Ability to engage with cross-functional stakeholders, gather context, and synthesize information quickly.
• A bias toward action and the ability to prioritize time toward the highest-risk initiatives.
• Ability to synthesize vast context into a cohesive vision and lead others, including influencing without authority.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity, secrets management, or compliance.
• Familiarity with OAuth, OIDC, or related authentication and authorization protocols.

Compensation

United States: The annual base salary for this role is between $172,000 USD and $249,000 USD.

Canada: The annual base salary for this role is between $155,000 CAD and $225,000 CAD.

Compensation includes immediate participation in the benefits program, an equity grant, and applicable incentive programs.

Work Environment

While this is a remote-first company, travel for in-person engagement is a part of almost all roles. Employees should be prepared to participate in annual department-wide offsites, team meetings, and industry events as required by the role.
