Role Overview

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer on the IT Operations Corporate Engineering team, you will focus on building and scaling the workforce identity and access management (IAM) platform. This team owns the infrastructure that secures how every employee and system authenticates and accesses corporate resources. You will be responsible for the reliability, automation, and DevOps practices that keep IAM systems performant and secure at scale, enabling identity management across a fast-growing, globally distributed workforce.

This is a remote-first role, though employees are expected to gather quarterly for intense in-person working sessions called "surges."

Responsibilities

  • Own the reliability and availability of corporate IAM systems end-to-end, including on-call rotation, incident response, root cause analysis, and blameless retrospectives to ensure 24x7 uptime.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling to streamline identity platform deployments and eliminate manual operational tasks.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on corporate IAM and DevOps tooling, advising on identity lifecycle, provisioning, SSO, MFA, and access control architecture.
  • Drive observability and disaster recovery maturity by defining metrics, implementing monitoring solutions, and designing recovery strategies to meet strict SLA requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive runbooks, system configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures across the identity platform lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or infrastructure engineering, with hands-on ownership of IAM platforms (such as Okta, Duo, Auth0, EntraID, or Ping).
  • Demonstrated success building tooling for identity lifecycle management, provisioning, SSO, MFA, and ABAC/RBAC at enterprise scale.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Go, Python, Ruby, Java, or C#).
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent).
  • Experience managing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with container orchestration and automated deployment frameworks.
  • Responsible use of generative AI to drive improvements in workflow efficiency and quality.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual Base Salary Range: $186,065—$218,900 USD
