Senior Engineer - PAM - CyberArk

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and driven Senior Cybersecurity Engineer with a solid understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privilege Access Management (PAM) concepts. This role involves developing and delivering comprehensive IAM solutions with hands-on CyberArk architectural, engineering, and operational responsibilities. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership and expert-level implementation skills to support a growing global IAM program.

Responsibilities

• Support the IAM technology stack and adhere to top-tier security practices, including architecture, implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and enhancements.
• Apply engineering best practices for the analysis, design, development, deployment, and support of software solutions and infrastructure upgrades.
• Manage CyberArk or equivalent technologies with a product owner mindset.
• Articulate and implement technical product components of CyberArk, such as vaults, safes, session managers, key managers, credential providers, external integrations, auditing, and reporting.
• Develop automated solutions using REST APIs and scripting.
• Enforce IAM and PAM controls across cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Implement identity and access management frameworks and principles.
• Proactively identify security gaps and develop remediation solutions.
• Communicate with internal customers to clarify objectives and provide status updates.
• Drive continual improvement processes to enhance end-user experience and improve security posture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of technology experience, with at least 7 years specifically supporting and developing Cybersecurity solutions.
• Strong understanding of Identity & Access Governance with a focus on Privilege Access Management in On-Prem, Cloud, and IaaS/PaaS platforms.
• Broad understanding of the IAM landscape, including identity stores, authentication/authorization, strong authentication, and PAM methodologies.
• Working knowledge of coding with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Solid experience with databases, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Application Systems, Operating Systems, and Network Infrastructure.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on risk and business objectives.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical details clearly and concisely.
• Effective multi-tasking skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholders and teams.
